Life, March 2010
Mar 26th
I felt like doing a general life update type post, so lets give it a go. I can’t say things have been too exciting around here. Life is generally boring, though there have been a few highlights in the past couple of weeks. Lets start with what takes up most of my free time.
In WoW (World of Warcraft), I’ve managed to get a group together who were able to clear the first wing of the new raid Ice Crown Citadel. During that time I managed to complete the 4 piece set bonus for my Resto Druid. Unfortunately, before I have even had the chance to use it, several key players in my raiding group have decided that they need to take a break from the game. I was told by my guild leader that they “Quit for personal reasons,” however I don’t think they can really quit the game. They seemed to be too into it to leave for long. Oh well. This probably is a good thing. I’ve been growing somewhat bored with the game. Though I’ll miss the players things will keep moving on.
My job at Blue Mountain Arts is still pretty laid back, and if I could just solve the issue of my right wrist still hurting, things would be just fine. After a couple of crazy months of getting caught up with various reporting, product scanning, image conversion, and creating a Blast Mailer I’m finally all caught up. The only project left on my plate is a complete redesign of our intranet. I’m really excited about this project, but I’m not sure where I want to take the site.
My social life is finally a bit more than my usual work/WoW intake. I have some friends who are hanging out on Fridays and on Saturdays I get to do some Dungeons and Dragons, which is always good for a laugh. I do kinda enjoy getting out, and hopefully I can break out of this semi antisocial shell that I’ve acquired.
My health is pretty good, though I am starting to see signs that I need to go to the gym. Mainly, clothes aren’t fitting quite right and I run out of breath pretty easily. Both I attribute to quitting cigarettes and just being lazy. I’m thinking that in the next few weeks I’ll be making some trips to the gym.
I think I’m going to try and post just random updates to keep whomever informed.
Ahh delays

Recently, the Camarilla has suffered from news that there will be a soft reset. This means that player will loose all of their experience points that they have gained from, potentially, years of play. They will all have to rebuild their characters from the ground up. This has caused many of the players to decide that they will not renew their membership, and in my Domain especially, almost 90% of the player base seems to be uninterested in continuing with the Camarilla. Due to these events I have decided that a delay from working further on the CamDenver site would be prudent that I need to clean up what I have now and get things out, though a delay is still being considered.
I plan to focus more on my efforts to create a custom theme for this site. Honestly I’m tired of using what other’s have provided and I really want to build something for myself. Maybe even it’ll motivate me to begin working on my artwork again. More >
